Our 3-day gorilla adventure brings you Rwanda’s gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, where Dian Fossey studied these unique creatures in detail. This beautiful place is popular because of the famous “Gorillas in the Mist” film. Volcanoes National Park is one of four locations in the world where visitors can track mountain gorillas (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda, Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, and Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo). It is part of the Virunga Mountains, which cover the three countries.
On arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be received by your driver guide who will transfer you to your accommodation closer to Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri Province. The drive is about 2 hours from Kigali.
